And your point is? When did YM 9.0 appear?

Why would you think non-unicode plugins would ever, ever load in an Unicode-compiled program?

To test the new build, please extract the files in the archive in a NEW working directory, anywhere you want, and copy your current "Settings" directory in it. It's not good to mix Unicode and non-Unicode files in the same folder, since they are totally incompatible...

hi everybody.

i don't know if this is a bug but when i input the ID's for status to work with, it also inputs several unicode characters at the end. im using Patchit2. And when I tried to delete the first ID which ends with "a", it doesnt have extra unicode characters after the ID. I assume its because of the letter "a" that makes it like this because the working ID end with "f".

thanks guys

cheers!  Wink

I believe that it would be a better idea to just make HyperIM 3.0 fully Unicode-capable, as there seem to be several problems with trying to move things up from the current architecture to a Unicode-aware one.

For now, there are good chances that a future HyperIM 2.15 version will appear, which addresses some Windows Vista issues, and maybe some updated plugins.

It would be too much of a headache to release a Unicode version of HyperIM 2.20.

Considering that it is written from scratch, it will take some time. Also, the source code will be under version control, meaning that it will be available for other developers.

Hello Codename! Can you provide some updates about any of your projects, how you've been doing lately and what are you doing now? Will HyperIM 2.15, 2.20 or 3.0 ever be released? Wich one first, and when do you plan to doi it (if you plan) ?
